Customers must change their SMTP settings
Due to the spam problem, the relay option is turned off on our mail servers. Customers must set their SMTP settings to their ISPs SMTP server and e-mail address can be set to our mail server (only ok if their ISP allows relay). If their ISP does not allow relay they may change their reply to settings only in their mail programs (Netscape, Outlook, Eudora, Outlook Express, etc.).

How can I receive email for multiple users from a single POP3 Account using Exchange Server or other NT type server?
By asking your account representative to route all of your domains inbound email to a single SiteAction POP3 account, the middleware program POP3 Gateway can retrieve and correctly route your messages to Exchange Server or any other NT type Server for distribution within your organization. For complete information on POP3 Gateway, please visit www.jak.com/pop3info.htm

How do I receive mail through SiteAction?

What does unresolvable host name mean? Reverse DNS check
In order to increase security against SPAM and E-mail forgery we implement a REVERSE DNS CHECK for every SMTP connection, i.e. attempt to resolve numeric IP address of the remote SMTP host into a domain name. If this verification fails our mailservers refuse to accept any messages and close connection. If you or your partners receive unresolvable host name message it means that for some reason reverse DNS doesnt work for the host through which E-mail is routed to SiteAction. In this case we advise to contact the respective E-mail service provider and ask them to fix their setup. By your request, reverse DNS verification can be disabled for your domain if it causes inconvenience.
