What is Virtual Web Hosting?
We specialize in Virtual Web Hosting which means that you can find a home for your web site on our powerful and speedy Web servers and establish a presence on the internet. We can help register your own domain name which will become your unique address on the World Wide Web. Having your own domain name does not suggest that you are renting web space, and since email can be addressed to your domain (e.g. [email protected]) you will not have to announce a new email address if you change ISP’s (Internet Service Provider) or hosting providers.

Do you offer dial-up internet access?
No. You will need local internet access in order to maintain your web site and retrieve email addressed to your site. We provide a specialized service meaning that we do not have hundreds or thousands of modems to maintain enabling us to devote our services and energies to our hosting customers and the specialized needs of Web hosting. This also means that you don’t have to change your current ISP for Web access! You can continue with your current provider while your Web site is hosted by us. You will always have full access to your site regardless of who your ISP is.

Do you offer web page design services?
Yes, we offer templated Web site designs for home businesses or small businesses. Our basic design template package, at $500CAN or $350US, has a superior navigational system with an elegant graphic design, crafted by a professional Web design firm specifically for SiteAction™ clients. This package also includes a fully customized CGI form! To take advantage of this unique design package you just supply the pictures you want used (i.e. your product or service) with your text and page breakdown—we do all the programming for you. If your site will contain more content than our template allows (approx. 5-6 pages), or requires a higher level of interactivity or advanced functionality, we can refer you to a reputable professional design firm. Can I use the SiteAction™ logo on my web page?
Yes. The following GIF file can be copied and used wherever and whenever you want as long as you make this image a hyperlink in your page that links to “http://www.siteaction.com”.

Can I upgrade from one plan to another plan?
Yes. You can upgrade from one plan to another plan at any time.

Will I have unlimited access to update my pages?
You have unlimited access via FTP 24-hours a day. As such, you can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your web site at your leisure.

Does SiteAction™ handle domain registration?
Yes. Simply go to our Registration Form. Once you have completed and submitted it, will contact the licensing body and register your new site for you, free of charge. We can also check your requested domain’s availability for you.

Can I transfer an existing domain name to SiteAction™?
Yes. A number of our customers have transferred domains to our service. When you place your order, be sure to specify that you are requesting a transfer and NOT a new domain. You are then entitled to our 6 months free offer, to switch your hosted domains to SiteAction™.

Can I use my account for commercial purposes?
